With the increasing demand for refined care in medical services, the design of medical beds has gradually evolved from a single function to a dual dimension of "treatment, adaptation, comfort and experience". Recently, a new type of medical bed has been launched in the market. Through multiple detailed optimizations, it provides more comprehensive support for clinical nursing in hospitals.

From the perspective of treatment adaptation, this medical bed adopts a segmented structure in its bed surface design, divided into three adjustment areas: the head, the waist, and the legs, which can independently control the Angle changes. For patients in the respiratory department, the head area can be adjusted to a 30-50° tilt Angle to help them maintain a semi-sitting or reclining position and improve respiratory function. For patients who need to elevate the affected limb after orthopedic surgery, the leg area can be raised or lowered by 10 to 20cm alone to promote blood circulation in the lower limbs and reduce swelling. There is a scale at the end of the bed, which is convenient for medical staff to record the patient's height, measure the length of the lower limbs, etc., providing data support for the formulation of treatment plans.

In terms of enhancing patient comfort, the mattress of medical beds adopts a three-layer composite structure. The surface layer is made of antibacterial and breathable fabric, the middle layer is high-elasticity sponge, and the bottom layer is memory foam with strong support. It can not only conform to the human body's curves and disperse body pressure, but also effectively prevent moisture. The side of the bed is equipped with adjustable handrails, which can be used by patients when they get up. The surface of the handrails is wrapped with soft silicone to avoid the cold feeling when touched in winter. In addition, the bed is equipped with silent universal wheels with a diameter of 12cm. When pushed, the noise is less than 50 decibels, reducing the disturbance to other patients during the transfer of patients. Meanwhile, the wheel lock device is stable and less likely to slide after braking.

This medical bed also pays attention to the convenience of medical staff's operation. The side guardrail of the bed adopts a quick-release design. Disassembly and installation can be completed simply by pressing the clips, which is convenient for medical staff to perform nursing operations such as turning patients over and wiping baths. The side of the bed is reserved with equipment interfaces, which can be directly connected to medical devices such as electrocardiogram monitors and infusion pumps, reducing the clutter of circuits and improving the cleanliness of the diagnosis and treatment environment. The director of the orthopedics department of a secondary hospital reported that the detailed design of the new medical bed is in line with the actual clinical needs. The comfort score of patients during the postoperative recovery period is 30% higher than that of traditional beds, and the operation process of medical staff is also smoother.
